Applicants are required to reside in Roscoe, Illinois; live in the Village limits for one year; be at least 18 years of age; and registered as a Winnebago County voter.  Anyone meeting those requirements and wanting to be involved with the community is encouraged to apply.

So what does this mean for Roscoe residents?

Illinois residents are no longer able to dispose of “electronic waste” in their curbside garbage because the above law prohibits us from putting it into landfills.

How can residents properly dispose of electronic waste?

Rock River Environmental Services has provided 9 drop off locations, where there will be NO CHARGE to the customer:

 Curbside pick-up is also available for a $35.00 fee.  Call 815-965-2489 to schedule a pick-up with a Customer Service Representative.
