Roscoe Summer Day Camp Signup
Roscoe Village residents ages 6 - 12 can attend the Roscoe Summer Day Camp for only $57.50 per week! Camp is held at Porter Park from 7:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Participants have weekly field trips and swim once a week at the Rockton Pool. Space is LIMITED! Registration begins April 4, 2009 at the Roscoe/Rockton YMCA at 10:00 A.M. Must provide current driver’s license and utility bill as proof of Roscoe Village residency.

Village of Roscoe Request for Bids for Village Hall Addition & Remodel
Notice is hereby given that bids are now being accepted by the Village of Roscoe. The plans and specifications will be available to contractors for purchase at BHFX, LLC located at 1404 21st Street, Rockford, Illinois 61108, and also at 10631 Main Street, Roscoe, Illinois, Northern Illinois Building Contractors Assoc. and Buckley Architects. They will also be available to view online at BHFX’s website, rockford@bhfx.net www.bhfx.net. There will be a pre-bid meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Roscoe Village Hall. Bids are due at the office of the architect at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2009. The project is a 10,883 square foot addition and remodel. The existing building is 2,399 square foot.

Sagewood Subdivision Meeting Handouts

Chief Evans Announces New Roscoe Police Department Website
The Roscoe Police Department now has their own website. You can find us at www.roscoepolice.com. Here we will be giving you updates on new events, (I will be out doing a lot in the community this spring and summer.), and new services. Also, we will be posting our crime alerts here, each subdivision will be able to see what is going on individually. You can also subscribe to an RSS feed for the site. Roscoe’s Secretary of State Driver’s Facility Moves to New Location
As the Village of Roscoe begins work on expansion of the Village Hall, the Roscoe Branch of the Secretary of State Driver’s License Facility has moved to a temporary location at Roscoe Center, 5496 Elevator Road (Elevator Road & Clayton Circle). Dairy Queen is on the corner and the Driver’s Facility is located at the North end of the same building. The facility will return to the Village Hall complex when construction is completed. Their hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The Driver’s Facility phone number remains the same, 815-623-9063.
